Our founder’s rescue dog, Scout, slipped through a gap in the fence during a summer storm. What followed were three terrifying hours of driving through neighborhoods, posting on social media, and calling animal shelters—praying someone would find him before dark.

Scout was eventually found—cold, scared, and miles from home. But those three hours changed everything.

We realized the technology existed to prevent this nightmare—it just didn’t exist in a form dog owners could actually rely on.

Most pet trackers on the market were:

  • Too slow (updating every 10–15 minutes),

  • Too expensive (requiring costly monthly subscriptions), or

  • Too fragile (breaking after one rainy walk).
